GTA V's networking is substantially client-authoritative for weapon fire. When you shoot someone, your client largely decides that the shot connected and reports the result; the server validates it loosely rather than re-simulating the shot itself.
Does FiveM silent aim show up in the killcam?
It shows up worse than a normal aimbot, not better. Silent aim leaves your crosshair where you aimed it while the bullet travels elsewhere, so a spectating admin sees you killing someone you were not pointing at. It defeats automated crosshair-tracking analysis and is more obvious to a human than a conservatively tuned conventional aimbot.
This is a legacy of GTA Online's peer-to-peer heritage and it has two consequences for FiveM.
First, aim assist is unusually effective. In a server-authoritative game like Valorant or CS2, the server re-runs your shot and can reject impossible hits. In FiveM, techniques that manipulate the reported bullet trajectory succeed because there is no authoritative re-simulation to contradict them.
Second, and much less discussed: the same property makes cheating visible in replay. Because your client reports what happened, the server has a complete record of your shots — including ones that make no sense. Anti-cheats and admin tools can and do log damage events with positions attached. The information required to see that you were shooting through a wall exists on the server whether or not anything is scanning for it in real time.
So the accurate summary is not "FiveM is easy to cheat in." It is that FiveM's automated detection is weak while its evidentiary record is strong. You will rarely be caught by a script. You will be caught when someone looks.
These three terms are frequently used interchangeably and mean quite different things.

Silent aim modifies the direction of the bullet without moving your camera. Your crosshair stays where you put it; the projectile leaves along a different vector. From your own screen it looks like you are missing and hitting anyway. To a spectating admin, it looks like your aim is nowhere near the target when they die — which is *more* obvious than a normal aimbot, not less. Silent aim is best understood as a trade: it defeats crosshair-tracking analysis and is glaringly obvious to a human watching a clip.
Magic bullet uses intermediate raycasts to route a projectile around geometry, allowing kills through cover. There is no legitimate game state in which a bullet curves around a wall. If any part of the engagement is recorded, this is unambiguous evidence, and it is the single most reported behaviour on RP servers.

Bullet teleport moves the target into the path of your shot rather than moving the shot. Its detection profile is the worst of the three, because the victim's client sees themselves jump — players notice being teleported far more reliably than they notice being shot accurately.
Conventional aimbot simply moves your aim vector to the target. It is the most detectable by automated crosshair analysis and the least alarming to a human, because it resembles a very good player. On servers where humans are the primary threat, a well-tuned conventional aimbot is usually a better choice than any of the exotic options.
These values are starting points for RP and semi-serious servers, where being unremarkable matters more than winning every fight. Deathmatch and freeroam servers tolerate far more.
Field of view: 3–5 degrees. This is the single most important setting. Large FOV values produce the characteristic snap across the screen that is instantly recognisable in a clip. Below about 5 degrees, the correction is small enough to read as a player who was already roughly on target.
Smoothing: 25–40. Smoothing spreads the correction over several frames instead of applying it in one. Without it, your aim moves at a speed no mouse produces. Higher values are safer and cost you kills against moving targets.
Can FiveM anti-cheat detect ESP?
Server-side anti-cheat cannot. ESP never sends anything to the server — it draws information your client already received. The realistic risk is entirely behavioural: pre-aiming, tracking players through walls and never being ambushed are all visible to other players, and player reports are how most ESP users are actually caught.
Hit chance: 65–80%. Deliberately missing is the most underrated setting. Human players in FiveM gunfights land well under 80% of their shots. Perfect accuracy over a long session is a statistical signature that behavioural logging picks up regardless of how natural any individual fight looked.
Triggerbot delay: 80–150ms with jitter. Human reaction time to a visual stimulus is roughly 200–250ms, and faster than about 100ms consistently is not humanly achievable. The jitter matters as much as the value — a fixed 120ms delay on every single shot is itself a pattern.
Target selection: closest to crosshair, not closest to player. Aimbots that always target the nearest enemy behave visibly differently from humans, who engage whoever they are already looking at.
Compare with the more permissive Rust aimbot settings, where server-authoritative hit registration changes the calculus entirely.
